Exotic Supercars And Super Luxury Cars That Drowned In Dubai Floods: In Images

Earlier in April, the megacity of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates witnessed its heaviest rainfall in 75 years. Following the rainfall, everything including houses, offices, and hundreds of ultra-expensive luxury cars were affected by floods. And once again on 3rd May, these heavy rainfalls returned to the city of Dubai, Sharjah, and other cities and caused another flooding. This time around, a number of ultra-rare and exotic hypercars and luxury cars were affected by floods. Here are some of the pictures of the cars.

Supercars, hypercars, and luxury cars flooded in Dubai

These pictures of the flooded supercars and luxury cars come courtesy of 44vato from Instagram. The first picture shows three Lamborghinis flooded after being parked in an underground parking lot. The one on the right is an Aventador SV Roadster. This particular car is finished in the very vibrant shade of Blue Cephus.

Meanwhile, the one on the extreme left is the Lamborghini Huracan finished in Giallo Triplo Strato yellow shade. Now both of these cars are rare in India, but by Dubai standards, they are fairly common. Now what is not common even from Dubai’s standards is the hypercar in the middle.

How rare is a Lamborghini Sian?

For those who may not be aware, the car in the middle is the Lamborghini Sian Coupe. This is the ultra-rare hypercar produced by Lamborghini only for its special clients. There are only 63 Sian coupes in the entire world. There are also only 19 Sian roadsters as well. This particular car alone costs over Rs 32 crore.

Other cars that have flooded

Mercedes G63 AMGs flooded

Now moving forward in the pictures, we can note that there were two Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG SUVs as well. Both of these SUVs, along with a ton of other cars, were parked outside a Mercedes-Benz dealership. There were also three Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II luxury sedans that were completely flooded.

Each of the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG SUVs costs Rs 4 crore, and there were 3 of them. The third one is the white car of which we can note the spare wheel. Apart from these, each of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II costs Rs 3 crore, so in total, the dealership lost Rs 9 crore.

This is just a rough estimate of what we can note from these pictures. Most likely, there are even more luxury and supercars that have drowned. As per the post, there has been a total loss of around $50-100 million, which translates to around Rs 400-800 crore.

Three rarest Pagani hypercars flooded

Now if you are an automotive enthusiast and you thought that the Sian getting flooded was the worst thing, then you will be proven wrong. This is because the pictures show not one but three Pagani hypercars also flooded right in front of its dealership.

To the untrained eye, these hypercars may just seem like normal supercars. However, in reality, these are some of the most exclusive hypercars to exist in the world. The one on the extreme left is the Pagani Huayra BC. There are only 40 Huayra BC coupes in the entire world, each one costing above Rs 35 crore.

Additionally, there is another Huayra on the extreme right end of the image. However, which Huayra it is cannot be determined. The company has produced a few different iterations of the Huayra, which include the standard coupe, roadster, BC, roadster BC, Imola, and a few one-offs. Each one is extremely rare and costs upwards of Rs 25 crore.

Pagani Utopia flooded

Lastly, the most painful one to see being flooded is the car in the middle. It is the Pagani Utopia. Although not as rare as the Pagani Huayra BC, the Utopia being flooded is painful as it is only one of the few Utopias across the globe to be delivered. This is a brand new model, and the company will only be building 99 units of the Utopia.

Each Utopia will be a one-off model, and there will be no two Utopias alike. Till now, Pagani has only delivered a few Utopias, meaning this one could be the only one in Dubai. The base price of a Pagani Utopia is Rs 29 crore. This price does not include any optional extras.

There is also a video of this Pagani Utopia being driven on flooded roads. The Pagani Utopia comes powered by a twin-turbo 6.0-liter engine that produces 852 bhp and 1100 Nm of torque. It comes mated to an Xtrac 7-speed automated-manual transmission.
