The popularity that the Mahindra Scorpio-N enjoys in India is unparalleled. This SUV, despite being a heavy highway mile muncher, can also perform amazingly when taken off-road. However, the company does not offer this SUV with a lot of accessories to increase its potential as an off-roader. So, a company from Bangalore, Karnataka, has taken that responsibility. Recently, Prad 4X4 shared a post showing all of the accessories that they offer for the new Mahindra Scorpio-N.
The post showing all of the accessories sold by Prad 4X4 has been shared on their official Facebook page. The main highlight accessory from the company for the Mahindra Scorpio-N is the full metal front bumper. This particular bumper comes with a unique design that helps in improving the approach angle of this SUV.
According to Prad 4X4, their XPD metal bumper is compatible with a winch. It also comes with a removable bull-bar at the front, which provides protection to the front grille and headlights. This bumper also comes with inbuilt fog lights as well. This bumper is priced at Rs 33,000.
Next up, the post also shows the silver Mahindra Scorpio-N fitted with their high-strength rock sliders. These metal rock sliders take the place of side steps that come from the factory. These rock sliders are priced at Rs 19,840.
Other accessories
The post also shows their underbody armour finished in a unique red color. The company states that it has been developed in-house, and it offers protection to the crucial mechanical parts of the Scorpio-N.
Apart from this, the company also offers a DEF tank protector and a fuel tank protector. All of these accessories have been designed to protect the car from damages that may be caused during off-roading adventures.
The company in its post has mentioned that all of their accessories are constructed from mild steel. It added that the accessories, except for the bumper, are available in four colors including red, yellow, black, and grey.
Mahindra Scorpio-N
As mentioned, the Mahindra Scorpio-N is currently one of the most popular SUVs in the country. It starts at Rs 13.85 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 24.54 lakh. This SUV comes equipped with a ton of features. It comes with LED projector headlights, DRLs, and LED taillights. It also comes with 18-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the Mahindra Scorpio-N comes equipped with an 8-inch touch-screen with AdrenoX, dual-zone climate control, analog dials with a large colored MID, and front and rear cameras. It also gets auto start-stop, cruise control, wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Scorpio-N also comes with a 12-speaker 3D Sony sound system and connected car features.
As for the powertrain options, it comes with a 2.0 turbo-petrol and a 2.2 diesel engine. The former makes 203 bhp and 370-380 Nm of torque (380 for automatic transmission). On the other hand, the diesel engine comes with two states of tune. The less powerful one makes 132 bhp and 300 Nm of torque, while in the higher state of tune, it makes 175 bhp and 370 Nm of torque (manual) and 400 Nm of torque (automatic).
