Maruti has recently launched an engaging television commercial (TVC) campaign to showcase the extraordinary benefits of the strong hybrid technology. Titled ‘IT’S UNBELIEVABLE. IT’S STRONG HYBRID.’, the campaign aims to raise awareness about the advantages of strong hybrid vehicles. This TVC highlights the brand’s firm commitment to promote strong hybrid technology.
The main highlights of this campaign are Maruti’s flagship models, the Grand Vitara and Invicto, which feature strong hybrid technology. These vehicles seamlessly blend electric mobility with ICE power, offering a fun driving experience under various conditions.
One of the primary highlights of Maruti’s strong hybrid technology is its impressive mileage. The Grand Vitara, with a fuel tank capacity of 45 liters, boasts a mind blowing range of 1258.65 kms, while the Invicto which comes with a 52-liter fuel tank, offers an impressive range of 1208.48 km. Under city driving conditions, these vehicles can operate in EV mode for up to 60%, further enhancing their eco-friendliness and further saving fuel.
Beyond just mileage, Maruti’s strong hybrid technology offers a host of other benefits, including smoother and quieter driving, improved fuel efficiency, and significantly reduced emissions. How does strong hybrid tech work?
Maruti Suzuki’s strong hybrid system combines a petrol engine with an electric motor for an efficient and eco-friendly driving experience. The electric motor in strong hybrid system can drive the car on its own for short distances. This system activates particularly during stop-and-go city traffic or slow speeds.
Regenerative braking which is an important aspect of the strong hybrid system captures energy during deceleration, which recharges the battery. The car automatically switches between electric and engine power depending on the situation. This technology prioritizes electric power for a silent and emission-free drive whenever possible which in turn leads to better fuel economy and reduced emissions.
