The Agency founder and CEO Mauricio Umansky suffered a bad fall during a ski trip in Aspen, Colorado over the weekend, landing him in the hospital Friday.
The real estate mogul and reality TV star was rushed to Aspen Valley Hospital on Friday, he told his followers Sunday on Instagram, and could be seen carried by ski patrol with his arm in a sling. Doctors performed surgery on a broken clavicle, which included 12 screws and a metal plate to fix the break, he said.

“I expect a speedy recovery,” Umansky wrote, praising the hospital’s doctors and nurses and expressing gratitude to those who had asked about his wellbeing.
Umansky and The Agency declined to comment on the incident any further to Inman.
Umansky also shared a video of the mountain’s ski patrol carrying him down the mountain, as well as a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed.
“Let’s get this surgery done so I can heal,” Umansky wrote. “Play hard sometimes you get hurt. But the care here has been incredible.”
The CEO credited his helmet as a safety precaution that “saved” him during his fall.
Umansky and his family have long vacationed in the luxury mountain town, and The Agency launched an office there in late 2019. The brokerage also has Colorado offices in Steamboat Springs, Denver, Telluride and Boulder.
